Importing Line Body Geometry into ANSYS Mechanical

Hi! I'm trying to import line body geometry into ANSYS so I can use them as link 180 (when I tried to add them into ANSYS it seemed to take a lot of work and be harder than just adding them in the original design). I designed in Onshape and used curves which are contained when I export to parasolid. Is there some way I can get ANSYS to import these line bodies?

Start SpaceClaim and open the Parasolid file.  On the Prepare tab is a Beams category with the Profiles pull down button where you can select or create a cross-section for the beam and a Create button where you can convert lines into beams that are assigned to the currently selected Profile.  Once you have a beam, you can use the Orient button to reorient the profile in 3D space if needed.  Import the SpaceClaim file into the Geometry cell in a Workbench analysis system.
