Importing in Ansys Maxwell

      Hi,

Im trying to import my motor in ansys maxwell 3d using Modeler-Import. While importing, the geometry is always imported away from the center of axis and this is causing me problems to do operations like "Split". I tried moving option but it is not moving accurate.

      Any alternatives for this problem.

      TIA

      Hi,

What file format are you using? have you tried to import the geometry using a different format?

HI, my file format is step file.
Regarding my problem, I am able to find the error and rectify it. The error was in assembly itslef, as it is not done exactly at the center of the origin.

I'm performing an transient simulation for a IPM and facing issues in meshing. Unable to decode the error. Do you have any idea regarding this error. Attaching the image for reference.
