I would like to import a parameterised CAD model which I created with Catia V5-6R2015 into the Ansys Workbench (Version available from 2019R2 - 2022R1) in order to carry out a CFD parameter design study with Ansys Fluent inside the Workbench environment (using the possibility to detect parameters which were assigned in CATIA, and create a range of parameters to be simulated in Workbench).

I load my .CATPart file into my geometry block in Workbench with right click on geometry and then "Import Geometry". As soon as I try to generate the imported part in the Design Modeler, this error message appears: "Unable to initialize geometry interface" -> "Geometry interface not found" -> "Attach failed".

Now I also tried installing the CADNexus AddOn from the Ansys Customer Portal (Version 3.40.0, where I am able to select my version of Catia V5-6R2015). The erroe message I receive in this case when trying to generate the imported part is: "The required license is unavailable" -> "Attach failed".

Reading the CadNexus Installation Guide, I don't need to enter a CARPI Key, as I am an ANSYS user.

Does anyone know how to resolve these two issues somehow? It is very important to me to be able to import the parameters from my CATIA part into the Workbench environment...

I assume you are not using student version.
Please check the compatible version in help manual.

What I noticed aswell is, that when I now try to import a .CATPart into Spaceclaim oder Design Modeler, the following error appears: "Capability CAD Interface - CAPRI CATIA V5 does not exist in the Ansys licensing pool. None of the products enabling this capability are available in the specified license path: ANSYSLI_SERVERS: xxxx@xxx... FLEXIm Servers: yyyy@yyy..."

This error didn't appear before I intalled and uninstalled the AddOn CADNexus which I previously downloaded from the Ansys Website.
This seams very odd to me, as all other workstations at our office don't have this problem...
