Imported file format

      Hello,

I want to import a rat phantom in DICOM format into Ansys HFSS for electromagnetic simulations. Is it possible to do so? If I need to convert the DICOM file into other formats (listed below), what softwares are recommened for the conversion?

I also want to change the voxel values. I believe this can be done after importing the phantom into HFSS and assigning material properties. Is it correct?

      Thank you.

DICOM is an array of images of each slice of the scan... There is no structural data with it that can be directly translated to CAD... The DICOM files need to be processed through image segmentation - where each pixel/voxel in each of the image slices is labeled as a material/object...

This a freeware program that can be used to segment the DICOMs: https://www.slicer.org/

The segmentation can be a manual/tedious process...

This is a commercial tool that supposedly has many features to accelerate the segmentation process: https://www.materialise.com/en/healthcare/mimics-innovation-suite/mimics
