SubscriberDear Friends,
I need the help to load the result from the Compute Canada to CFD POST (Ansys)., In order to run the ansys file, I create the mesh and prepare my file in the ansys fluent until the initilzation step and click on the save and export the case and save it to the folder. Later on I move the journal file, input.cas.gz file to compute canada. Once I run the file in the ansys on the compute canada, I get the following file in the ansysÂ
a. Case Output: fullcase.cas.gzÂ
b. Data Output: output.dat.htÂ
When I try to upload on the CFD Post , it doesnt work out. Any suggestion, Am I missing any output file format in the jounral file. I can see the result in the fluent component, but what if I want to see the results directly in the CFD post app.Â
Thanks

Hello,
While saving the data file, I think you should have .gz or .h5 for the case file as well. Please try using the same extension for both the files.

Forum ModeratorOK, you're writing a case file as fullcase.dat.gz and the data file as output_results.data  Please open in Fluent to sort out the names, but also confirm they're .cas.gz and .dat.gz and not .cas.h5 & .dat.h5  CFD Post will look for names and wildcards, it's not necessarily going to pick up the link between case and data otherwise (the wildcard might confuse the case links).Â
