I checked with my team and this I gather that these rely on two different technologies but attempt to accomplish the same thing.  Import/Export Autocad files

 

With autoCAD files being produced from many different sources the different technologies work better in different cases.  Teigha does pretty well with most formats while RealDWG  does very well with files coming directly from Autocad.
