SubscriberHello
I am working in the buckling analysis of this beam. I set up my boundary conditions and got some results.

Best way is to do as follows .
create an external data system and link it to a new analysis:

in the external data import your file (needs node nr, X,Y,Z, and values) as temperatures (units do not matter here ) - in this example I have taken Z strains and multiplied them by two in excel (see help for external data for more info), and said that they are temps:

finally import the loads - as we can see the left result (imported load) shows twice the strain as it should

SubscriberThank you, Your information really helped me to understand the process. However, do you know a different process where I can take direct data from the solver( Strain Energy) and plot its contour? Maybe use any Code and process in APDL
For example, I am trying to get all information from Here
Extract all information possible from the results(Equivalent stress).
Use all the information and use it in an empty model

So, I can get the same result

SubscriberHello again ,
I found this interesting video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAnSv7r7EnM , but I can't use it in my project.
For the purpose of explanation, I would like to know if it's possible to read results and use this result in a different model.
Something similar to:

If i can take the data (in my case strain energy), I would like to manipulate this data and use it in my model so I can get:

However, there is not more available options in the Imported loads option in Static structural.

Is there anyway how I can create custom results using functions or any tool in ANSYS?
