Hey,
I am currently working on a transmittive metasurface simulation that uses sheets of specific admittance. I have calculated the required admittance values of the sheets and I want to assign the same in HFSS. How do I use the boundary conditions for this? The impedance boundary requires resistance and reactance in ohm/square. Is there any conversion needed to be done after taking the inverse of admittance to obtain impedance to match the units?Â
Hoping for a positive reply ASAP.The above figure shows three admittance sheets with dielectrics sandwiched in between and I would want to assign admittances to these sheets

Hi Amogh,
Your approach is correct. Please use impedance boudary condition and consider impedance as Z = 1/Y.
Thanks

Hi,
Thank you for the response. Is there any conversion required to convert to ohm to ohm/ square in the impedance boundary condition?
