I want to study temperature predictions using Icepack coupled with HFSS in AEDT.
I did the following steps:
- Calculate surface loss and volume loss of all objects in HFSS
- Copy and paste the geometry from HFSS to Icepak
- Set the ambient temp as 24C
- Assign Thermal
- Assign Thermal
- Run "Generate Mesh"
- Set up the solver
- Assign Thermal
In the first attempt, the error was "solve iteration failed. May be solution is diverging got this error: " Failed to run solver" My questions are:
- How. do I fix this?
- Is there a way to a way to assign initial temperature for each component? My object have multiple components with different initial temperatures that vary from 38-40C.

This is an explicit dynamics forum. I would suggest to post this in the appropriate forum (e.g., electronics) in order to get some advice - all the best
