SubscriberGood morning,Â
One of our subscribers would like to run multi-core simulations using ANSYS' "Icepak" 2019 R1. We are subscribers to your "Campus Solutions" program, and the "Icepak" licence features are present in this bundle.Â
They are:
aiiges
aice_solv
aice_pak
aice_opt
aice_mesher
Â
In addition to these specific features, we also have aa_r_hpc and hfsshpc features. In theory, how many cores could a user request for a single Icepak simulation?Â
Â
Thank you,Â

Ansys EmployeeHi CMC Microsystems Technical Support staff,
The Icepak from AEDT will look for license features only. So, it will use aice_solv, hfsshpc, anshpc , hfsshpc_pack, anshpc_pack.
Other license features that have Icepak 'capability' or HPC 'capability', can't be used. They can still be used if Icepak is launched in stand-alone mode or with Workbench.
Thanks,
Win
