SubscriberCan we localise block splitting in certain regions rather than the full domain?

Ansys EmployeeBlocking usually used to get full hex mesh. So even if you localize it will be continuous hex mesh. You can use Y or C shape grids. You can search this forum for the same.Â
Please go through help manual for more detailsÂ

SubscriberI think there is confusion.Â
I am using top-down approach for meshing.Â
When we split the block, full domain gets split. But I want to split the particular blocks not want to propagate it full domain. However the issue is that splitting the particular block reduces the mesh quality.Â

I am using ICEM CFD bottom-up approach. After creating 2D block, i want to extrude it for making 3D block. On using, all apppach, interactive , fixed distance and curve and point, it gets failed with error:"extrusion of faces failed"
