I am trying to modify the piston bowl for an IC engine and I have assembled the piston bowl to the valve and the ports of the default demo file provided by the ansys and I am trying to ruin a simulation. But in the Decomposition step the file is not decomposed and I am not able to change the compression ratio of the piston. Could anyone please tell me how can I assemble my modified piston bowl to the valve and port geometry and  run the simulation.

Sir,

      From the ansys IC engine tutorial file demo_eng file I have cut the part of piston and assembled the pistonbowl geometry of my own. The attachment of the modified file is attached below. After modification in the following way the pre processing is not working to decompose..

So you'll need to work through what's different. Staff are not permitted to open/download attachments so you'll have to compare & work it out.
