Hello, I would need again to change the installation process, because I change by mistake a set up and it does not open Ansys 19.0 in normal way.
 So I did it by misake, but I do not know how to change it again and I described it before. However now I realized that I am not capable of doing extrude normally, because I am not able to give the sw. a value of thickness e. g. You can see in the model, that I am not able to put the sw a value of casting value of  6 mm, but it takes 25 mm. How to set it up back. Please see that I am not able to access to the details of extrude where you can see at 35 seconds of this view:

They want to take Extent type FD1, but I do not have the view of this chart at all. So absolutely impossible and I would have to install a new
Windows 10 Home and all the software to avoid this non-sense of Ansys. It would be really usefull, to know where this data can be changed, because I have tried to reinstall it and deleted the Ansys folder and I know that because of this way to say that you want to have the stage of windows different, this must be told in a bit different place, what I do not know at all, so can you please tell me, where this is to be written? Thanks a lot.
Please, do have a look at this video of the pipe! I want to take it away, but it does not work, for some reason...The thickness is absolutely wrong in the picture, st. like 25 mm and should have only 6 mm, but the windows to change the thickness in the Extent type ED1 is not possible to access at all. Here, you can see at the object the thickness it to be only 6 mm, but by the Ansys 19.0 it takes 25 mm thickness.

So if you have an idea how to change the process of not having any process of extruding parameters e. g. of thickness, let me know and of course how to reinstall it, instead of having to install Windows 10 and all the software again, which I do not want to do. Thanks Jiri

Basically, the main point is to know how to install new Ansys 19.0, without the changes I have made, so it will require to know where are the changes saved, it is for sure not in the directory of Ansys 19.0 at all, where it is? I have no idea...

Hi Georgiro,

If you would like to reset the preferences and settings please close all open applications and rename or delete the following directory:

%APPDATA%Ansys

Then try opening the application again.

So where can I find the %APPDATA% I cannot find the directory. Thanks a lot!

Hi Georgiro,

Open the Windows File Explorer

In the Path/Address bar please type:

%APPDATA%

Then press enter.

That will take you to the proper directory.

So I found the C:UsersgeorgAppDataRoamingAnsysv190 and what to find later on and what to change? Thanks

So to see the directories in v190 as shown below, what shall I do?

Everything was perfect to resolve it, however I have another issue and this is not to create extruded view on certain parts that I do not want, just the rest of the geometry 2D, but how can I resolve this - I have no idea, but it is the last of my issues. Thanks Jiri
