I did an static structural analysis on this universal coupling but in my opinion the total deformations seem odd. it is ok that the maximum deformations are on the exterior parts of the beams?Â
I inserted an moment on one edge and fixed support on the other edge as you can see in the screen.

It seems very reasonable that the part of the model with the largest deformation is the furthest from the axis.
