I have problem in getting the license access from the university

      I have the license server from the university. I have been registered as a user. But I am getting the error like inactive server. I suspect I have ansys license manager installed in my pc. But I cant find the license server there. Can you help in fixing this issue.

      From the ‘DOMAIN’ status it indicates that your computer is not able to communicate/connect with the Ansys license manager on the server or there are no Lumerical licenses on the server you are trying to connect to. 

      • Check with IT/admins if the license file/Ansys license manager is configured for shared license access as shown here > Configuring the Ansys license manager for shared access – Ansys Optics
      • Check with IT/admins that your machine si allowed to connect/access the ‘license server’ on TCP ports 1055 & 1056. 
      • If you on a different network or accessing from home, consult with IT/admins on how to access/connect to the server on your university network from your home Internet connection.
