What should i do?

When running the setup.exe, did you right-Click and choose: more->run as administrator?

Yes, I did.

This usually means you do not have access to edit the Windows registry(Permissions issue)
Can you log in as administrator and try again?

Yes, I am installing with full permissions (administrator account).
I have reinstalled it as administrator but same error.

Go to
C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v212\commonfiles\configs\winx64\config
right click on
AnsConfigSpaceClaim.exe
Choose More->Run as administrator
This should configure SpaceClaim.
It will write the registry key, if permissions are allowed.

I still cannot launch Spaceclaim , Workbench. They appear in the task manager for a bit and then they crash.
