I am getting “Mesh size exceeding the Ansys Electronics Desktop limit” error

      If you are using the AEDT Student version then please check the tool limitations in the product restrictions section from below link.
      https://www.ansys.com/academic/students/ansys-electronics-desktop-student
      Please make sure that your simulation is not exceeding the mesh element count limit.

      I am using a smaller mesh size. can you please explain how to further reduce the mesh size

      As mentioned in the post, since you have already kept the initial mesh to be more coarse, please reduce the number of passes for the adaptive meshing and see if the number of elements fall below the limit. However, this will result in a less accurate result.
      You can also specify the Length Based Mesh Refinement settings to restrict the length and number of the mesh elements created during each pass. Please go throughLength-Based Mesh Refinement section from HFSS help document.
