AdministratorHello Mahaveer,
For better visibility on your question, please create a new thread.
It is possible that you did not use the exact same mesh from the paper. If I were you, this will be the first thing I'd check. Also, make sure your convergence is deep and that you are comparing like-results. If you are looking at steady state results, please have sufficient monitors to ensure your model has reached a steady state. Sometime, I find it useful to connect with the authors of the paper who initially performed this study to understand the differences in your approach. I hope this helps.
Best,
Karthik

SubscriberDear Karthik,
Thanks for your response I understand that i didn't got exact mesh. In my case file convergence is occurred and it is steady state. And difficult to sort out the problem, even don't know where is problem. Please can you personal contact easy for talk or just email.

SubscriberHello Sir / Ma'am
I am currently doing research on Numerical simulation and modeling on hydrodynamic vortex separator, and using a research paper as reference model. When i go along the research and run the case file in the fluent.15.0 use the same geometry and my mesh quality is good i apply same method & conditions but could n't get similar values of results and also same trends of graphs of the reference paper. I tried many times change different methods and boundary parameters, but could not succeed. Could some one help me asap. reply back -

when i run the my case file in fluent.15.0 and after calculation i got results like velocity magnitude 1.58 instead of 1.44, other value of axial, radial and tangential velocity are different from the picture i have mention, and also graph picture that too much different from my results, but i don't know where is problem, even my geometry, parameters and setting of models, boundary conditions according to paper and i got convergence and steady state occur in my flow.
