SubscriberHello everyone,
Â
I tried to simulate a person's neutral standing on ground.
My goal is to get plantar pressure close to the real situation.(0.19Mpa)
I'm not sure if there are wrong settings during my simulation.
Can someone please help me with this?

Best Regards

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Can you explain the boundary conditions? Why is there an upward force of 152.05 N (Boundary condition A)?Â
From the results, it looks like the reaction force is balancing out the applied forces, so that seems fine.

Ansys EmployeeHi Chad,
Â
Interesting model! Looks like you got your boundary conditions set up correctly.
So for a 60Kg person, the reaction force on one foot is about 290N (compared to yours 190N), and your contact area looks slightly larger than a normal person's. What material property do you use for the muscle? Maybe tweaking your material properties (like makes it harder) and see how the result will change?

Wenlong

SubscriberHi Wenlong,
Â
This is the link of my model.(https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LmYW2xZc9KjmTWc89DbRPXl8Zqv3HeJZ/view?usp=sharing)
If you are interested you can check it out.
My contact conditions face are set as shown below.
My soft tissue was considered nonlinearly hyperelastic(the second order polynomial model).
I have made soft tissue harder two times, but the plantar pressure only increased by 11.7%.
Thanks for your reply !
