SubscriberThe composite modeling document shows that the modified hashin damage model is implemented in Autodyn.
I am attaching the screenshots of the composite modelling document and dropdown for selecting failure in Autodyn.
The dropdown menu does not contain to hashin. How do I use Hashin with Autodyn.

Ansys EmployeeHashin failure model is orthotropic damaged model. It is applied to the materials with orthotropic yielding and failure/damage.
Hashin failure model is only available in Autodyn Component system or Autodyn Standalone.
User needs to set the Strength Model to Orthotropic Yield to define the yielding constants and then set Failure Model to Orthotropic Softening. See the pictures attached.
The description about this material model can be found from ANSYS Help. See attached picture of the Help.
