How to “tell” Mechanical that there is an initial force already?

  So, what I mean to ask is the following: I have a geometry of an artery, which was made based on the diastolic state of it. This means that a certain pressure (~10 kPa) is already acting on it, while Mechanical "thinks" there is no force working on it yet.

  Read the ANSYS Help, Mechanical APDL, Structural Analysis Guide, Chapter 8.7 on Inverse Solving.
  That starts with the deformed shape with a known load and solves for what the shape of the part is with no load.
