SubscriberHello everybody, I am trying to simulate a Pre-mixed combustion in fluent. I have selected 'adiabatic' and 'c- equation' options. nI have imported a ethanol combustion Chemkin mechanism in fluent, I can see all species under the 'fluid' tab under the 'material' tab. nI am using a 2-D model of a cross section of combustion chamber. I have defined one edge as inlet and the other as outlet.nMy question is how to define inlet species in this case?. I have selected the type as 'mass flow' inlet. But under the species tab, I can only specify the 'Progress variable'. Is it possible to specify inlet species in this case? If not, how is fluent processing the chemkin mechanism for ethanol I have inputted.nAny help will be appreciated.n -

Ansys EmployeeHello, nYou can use the partially premixed model for this. For more information : https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v202/en/flu_ug/flu_ug_sec_premix_using.htmln
