SubscriberHi community. I am currently running a 3D transient analysis. This model is a speed transducer with a tooth missing on one of the gears (shown in the figure above). I put this project and its temp files in Disk C. My simulation shut down because of the error shown in the following figure. ("磁盘空间不足" means lack of disk space) How am I supposed to solve it?
It is quite strange that the simulation of a normal model (no tooth missing) ran smoothly. The mesh operations of these two models are the same. So I am really confused about the reason why this error happened.

Ansys EmployeeHello Juefei ,
Can you please save the outside C drive and try running the model.

SubscriberIt is already outside C drive... There were approximately 600G disk space available, and I tried running this model twice. The same kind of error popped out once, while the software (or maybe the computer) got jammed the other time. Do you have any idea why?
By the way, I have encountered the "software jammed" problem so many times, and I don't know why... My classmates are also running finite element analysis but they are working with other softwares, such as COMSOL and Abaqus. But their analysis are mostly running well without jamming. Is it because the hardware requirements for these softwares are different from those of Maxwell (my version is Ansys Electromagnetics Suite 2020R2)? I'm using i9-9980XE CPU 3.00GHz, and the RAM space is 64.0G.
