Hi,
I have equations to solve the WAAM process. It involves a moving heat source and metal is added in droplets to be added to the layer. I have all the governing equations to solve the problem. I have a basic understanding of ANSYS, but I am looking for resources that will help me to solve the equations.
Any suggestions or resources on where to start would be greatly appreciated.

WAAM is a Direct Energy Deposition (DED) process. DED can be simulated in Workbench Mechanical. Â
Please refer to DED Simulation Guide available on line for more details. You would need an Additive Suite License.

Thank you for your response. I am aware of the DED simulation in the Additive Suite License. However, I want to modify the DED model to better encapsulate the process physics. Is there a guide for that?

Have you found the solution?Â

I got the Goldak's heat source to work. But other than that, didn't make any progress. And there is not much resource on the internet either. Let me know if you find something.
