how to simulate rolling contact in Ansys Apdl?

Dear ANSYS community, i need your support please about my simulation.

I am trying to run a transient structural analysis to simulate the rolling contact between a wheel and a rail. However, as it is shown in the figure bellow that, in the rolling step, the wheel just keeps going through the rail body.

I checked the contact satus for the contact pairs and i found that the contact is initially open. Please how can i solve this problem?

Thank you so much in advance,

      Best regards

      Hi

I would suggest to do this in Workbench Mechanical - you can then take the solver input file.dat generated by Mechanical, and import it into ansys apdl shoud you want that .

below are some tutorial (more can be found if you search)
