How to simplify bolt with rigid element

  Hello,
  
  I want to simplify the bolt with rigid element so, that i can reduce my run time and mesh count.
  
  please help me how to do in ansys workbench

  Use a beam connection, that is typically used to represent a bolt with a beam element - for your reference this is standard practice in many industries (e.g., aerospace and automotive), when a large number of bolts are used, and that can not be modelled in detail (e.g., as 3D solids), since for a global model that would just be to much (say we had 100 000 bolts)
  
  See below how we can use a beam connection to represent a bolt ("lap" joint pulled along the length, and with a bolt connection at the centre hole):
  
  (also one can issue a inistate command to apply pretension to that beam connection)
