How to set the specified several ELEMENT as monitoring points?

  I want to set several element as monitoring points and check the stress variation curves of these element after the calculation is completed. I would like to know the method of setting monitoring points.

  Hi Tim,
  You can use *DATABASE_ELOUT together with *DATABASE_HISTORY_{ELEMENT_TYPE} for this purpose. I assume that you are performing simulation with classical lagrangian approach.

    I used the keywords *DATABASE_ELOUT and *DATABASE_HISTORY_SOLID to monitor ELEMENT, but there was no data output in ASCII.
