i wanna use ECE3 ECER on SynRM
and my setting like
(the analyze too long to use more work points ) have any good method to speed up ?
i config 8 core cpu

Are you using the simplorer circuit from any existing example or have you created it from scratch?
Can you elaborate on how did you set up SVPWM in simplorer?
Can you show screenshots of how are your switching signals?

so how to initial position and what's RotAngMax RotAngIntervals range i can set
August 26, 2021 at 2:55 pmHDLIAnsys Employee
1). PhAngIntervals = 0,1,2:Cartesian DQ, Sweep Id & Iq over all values listed in CurrentSweeps .
0: positive d & q, 1st quadrant;1: positive q, all d, 1st &2nd quadrant;2: all d & q (default), all quadrant
2). RotAngMax: Maximum rotating angle for sweep for each Id-Iqvariation. In manybalanced cases, a 60 elec. degree sweep issufficient.ÔÇï
RotAngIntervals: Number of uniform sweeping intervals of RotAngMaxÔÇï. Thus, I suggest to enter 30 mechanical degree for RotAngmax and 30 or 15 for RotAngIntervals, for this 4 pole machine.
3). Alignment: ECE model will do auto d-axis alignment for PM motor.
However, I suppose it might do q-axis alignment for the synchronous reluctance machine. You could check it in the results.
4). Frequency and current, controller
It is the synchronous machine, so frequency should match the speed. For 1200rpm and 4 pole, the frequency should be 40 Hz, but in "inverter output", the frequency is about 117Hz.
The current should enter into three phase terminals, A, B, C. I find you connect to B0 and Y0 . It seems to me that phase B is in short and there is open circuit in phase C.
5). Speed up solution, use TDM
We could use HPC with "transient solver" option for ECE model simulation.
There are more information on ECE model in the manual and Ansys advanced motor training course, https://www.ansys.com/training-center/course-catalog/electromagnetics/ansys-maxwell-advanced-motor, or review training materials in Ansys learning hub https://catalog.ansys.com/alh.cshtml

i have other question
my motor is delta connection
Is the y connection and delta connection table look-up method different in ece?
how to set delta connection in Maxwell when use ECE ?
