I am running a CFD simulation to try and optimise the residence time in a domain as the particles move from the inlet to the outlet. The inlet is a velocity BC and the outlet a pressure BC, and both are input parameters. I want to study how the Residence time varies with the outlet gauge pressure. Any suggestions on how to view the average particle residence time at the outlet surface as an output parameter? Thank you in advance :)

Also, one cell may have many particles pass through it each having a different residence time. The DPM Summary (dpm.out files) will give you the data you want, but you'd need to use Excel or the like to get the mean value.
