SubscriberI ran a transient simulation using the 6DOF solver for dynamic mesh and saved my motion history file (.6dof). When I open the file in notepad it is just a large wall of numbers. I was wondering if there was a way for me to extract a specific column of data from this file such as theta in the Z direction so that I could plot this motion. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Once you open in notepad and see the numbers, you can save as .csv and then open in excel to access a particular column.
