How to output the nodal history stress

      Hello,

I want to output the nodal stress. I have checked the instruction on LS-DYNA manual(https://ftp.lstc.com/anonymous/outgoing/support/FAQ/solid_output ) and I find I need to give NODOUT as Stress or All and I need to load elout to get the nodal stress.

In the end, I find elout file is empty.

      My ELFORM = 1

This is how I set the DATABASE_EXTENT_BINARY card:

With *DATABASE_ELOUT you must use, for example, *DATABASE_HISTORY_SOLID, to identify which elements should report to the ELOUT file.

Hello tslvik I know *DATABASE_ELOUT and *DATABASE_HISTORY_SOLID or *DATABASE_HISTORY_SOLID_SET should be used at the same time. <- combination 1
The combination 1 is to output the element stress rather than nodal stress, is there any way to output the nodal stress? the nodal value is my goal,
I also know *DATABASE_NODOUT and *DATABASE_HISTORY_NODE or *DATABASE_HISTORY_NODE_SET also should be used at the same time. <- combination 2
      - combination 2 seems can output nodal stress, but option can not be found by combination 2:

Could you give me the suggestion to output the nodal stress directly?
      Thank you!

Hi Teng Have you figure out this issue since I have the same problem with it to output the engineering stress-strain and/or true stress and strain. I am not pretty sure how to get the output, very new to LSDYNA!
