November 22, 2020 at 5:29 pmpeteroznewmanSubscriberI'm using SpaceClaim in ANSYS 2020 R1 and I haven't found the kind of automation that DesignModeler provides for including symmetry.nI just make a plane, and use the Split Body tool to cut a body in half. If you have several bodies, I select them one after another. I haven't found the split body tool works on multiple bodies at once.nAfter the geometry has been imported to Mechanical, there is a Symmetry Region, but I will often create a Displacement BC to create the symmetry boundary condition.n
