How to model material deposition in ANSYS APDL?

      It looks like there should be an esel,all command after line 23.n

      I don't think so. It's going to select all the dead elements at once and apply load on them, which I don't want.n

      I'm quite certain that all elements (active or not) should be selected prior to every SOLVE you do, so Dave's suggestion is probably a good one. I don't think you have to remove HFLUX loads from faces of deactivated elements - it looks like the code does that automatically and internally for you:nnn

      Thank you, I am not getting any more errors. But the graph from time history post-processor doesn't seem right. Ideally, the temperature should increase when the heat source approaches a node and should decrease when the heat source moves away from it. nn
