SubscriberHello guys,Â
I am studying on static structral analysis on this file which is ? shared it below. But ? have some problems when ? am meshing it. There are a lot of faces and they are really complex. This is a generative designed model. ? know that there is some problem with model but ? am trying to keep going to analysis. do you think is it possible ? if it is possible what can ? do for that ?
Thank you so much....

SubscriberHello Mechasteel,
This is an interesting example of Topology Optimization. Also, in the latest version of Topology Optimization, there are settings for minimum sections which would avoid sections that are too small to be practical.
I see some geometry cleanup has been done. There are tools in SpaceClaim for doing that.Â
If you do a Geometry Check when you bring this geometry into SpaceClaim there are four errors. You have to fix geometry errors before you mesh.

SubscriberThank you so much peteroznewman
Can ? fix these errors using Space Claim or what can ? use for it? if it is possible to fix it with space claim would you give me some advice for that ?

SubscriberWas the Topology Optimization done in ANSYS? If so, do you have access to that file? You want the facet body representation of the part and the few solid bodies that were merged in to clean up the interfaces. Then you can do a lot in SpaceClaim.
If you don't then you need to convert the file you have into a facet body. I tried but it was taking a long time so I killed the attempt.
