How to maintain constant cell height for first two cells in inflation

      Hi

Is there any way in ansys meshing to maintain constant height for the first two cells in an inflation layer and then apply growth rate from the 3rd layer

Not easily, why do you want to do that?

The place where i am working wants me to just find a way on how to do it
it would be helpful if you can share the required steps
      thank you

The simplest is probably to fix the first cell height and then use anisotropic adaption to split the cell. Otherwise you're potentially splitting the domain or using the new extrude function in Fluent Meshing (but you'd need to mesh the fluid less the volume you want the two layers in).

Can you please tell me where i can find anisotropic adaption in ansys

Domain tab, Adaption. It's covered in the User's Guide and the exact process is currently very version dependent as the panels have changed several times in the last 3-4 years.
