How to Import a Geometry from Workbench to APDL?

      Hello everyone!

I am currently working in a project that can be only preformed in Ansys APDL . So Any idea that can help me to import my geometry only without even the mesh to Ansys APDL, then in APDL I set up the model for solving and analysis. I tried to use the Write Input File command and I faced the following issues:

1- When I open the geometry in APDL it only shows the nodes only.

2- The file I opened it appears with a generated mesh which I don't want.

3- I used the Commands ALLS and EPLOT to show my geometry Area but in APDL It says there is no area Identified.

I need Only the WB Mechanical to create the FEM, then port it over to MAPDL to set up the model for solving. I have attached the relevant photos of my problem.

Any help Will be much appreciated.

nnYou can export the geometry from SpaceClaim ( as .iges file) ad then import the same. For importing the geometry in APDL please see the steps below:nnnRegards,nAshish Khemkan
