SubscriberDear Users!nI wrote a UDF for postprocessing some results. I stored the results in User-Defined-Memory locations. All went well, and UDF compiled and gave results. I am able to see the results in FLUENT by selecting UDMI (in present case: total . Then I Export the entire solution file in CFD Post. nIn CFD Post also, whenever I access UDM values in Contour Plots etc., it is showing it nicely. However, when I wish to access the values stored in these 8 UDMs in Table viewere, it is showing ZERO values.nCan someone please help me out with this ?? Why the UDM values are not visible or accessible in Table viewer, though it is viewable in 3D viewer ??nKindly help me out.n -

Ansys EmployeeHello, nIn table viewer, are you performing any area averaging or mass flow averaging of the UDMs at a certain location?nCan you change the location and check ?nRegards,nSuryan -

SubscriberThanks Surya! However, I am NOT performing any kind of averaging in Table Viewer.nWhat I have done is following. My geometry is a 90-degree pipe bend. In the region from 0-degree to 90-degree, I wish to plot graphs for variables on the pipe-periphery (circumferentialy) for which I defined planes at 30, 45, 60-degrees within the bend. Now with some programming in CDF-Post, I created 13 points on the circumference of each plane within the bend. Finally, I wish to get the values of the variables stored in UDM (through a UDF) at these 13 locations on the bend periphery (or circumference).nThe regular (default) variables as well as UDM are showing when plotted in Contours etc. However, the same UDM show ZERO values when viewed in Table Viewer. This is my problem. Would be very thankful if you can suggest a way out !nn -

Ansys EmployeeCan you view other variables (not UDMs) at these points in table viewer? nAlso can you test the UDM values by using Probe Function in Function Calculator and selecting one of those 13 points randomly.nDo you see a value or do you still see 0?.Regards,nSDn -

SubscriberDear Surya!nYou asked:Can you view other variables (not UDMs) at these points in table viewer?nMy Answer:YES, I can all view variables other than UDMs in the Table Viewer.nYou asked:Also can you test the UDM values by using Probe Function in Function Calculator and selecting one of those 13 points randomly.nMy answer: In fact, I am using PROBE function only to get the values in the Table viewer. And UDM is showing only 0 values...!!!nDo you see a value or do you still see 0? nYes, I still see 0 values for UDMsn -

SubscriberI am using ver 19, and yes I am using CFD post compatible data. I also exported all the variables in fluent including udm to CFD post in format filename.cdat n
