SubscriberHi all,
in my 3D problem, I create an iso-surface to show regions with, say c>1 mol/L. How can I obtain the volume of these regions? Thanks.

Forum ModeratorYou can't at present as it's a surface and not a volume. You can use adaption registers to separate cells, or there are some tricks using scalars and custom field functions. I'm not permitted to explain the latter on here as the forum is classed as public domain. Other users may want to elaborate.

Ansys EmployeeHello
You could also explore 'Expression Volume' feature in Fluent (2022R2 onwards) which allows you to create volume (or surface depending on the context) based on criterion provided by the user. The volume can then be computed in the post-processing.
