SubscriberDear all,
Â
I am simulating transient heat transfer of water in Coil Tube by Ansys FLUENT 17.2. I want to take some variable in CFD post in such as Wall Heat Flux and Temperature on tube wall perimeter (interface between tube and water). Because of complex geometry, I make points coordinate of the perimeter from space claim and I manually type them to excel .csv then I import the csv into CFD post. However, the plot graph in the cfd post the graph is scattered and not good (it seems points not in the proper location but when I check in the space claim the coordinate is correct). Then, I decide to pick one by one by using probe in CFD post but due to many points location in geometry and the value is good, using probe is so wasting time and tiring way (however by using this methods, I can not manage proper location every point on the perimeter of wall). I also make point (based on coordinate in space claim) in FLUENT in Monitor parameters and save them every time step but the value is not good.Â
Do you have way to get proper point in CFD post?
Thank you

SubscriberI have solved the problem. I rearrange my point in space claim with the correct boundary. Because my case is cooling. The point on the interface between water and surface tube is so sensitive. The small change in coordinate could result in positive heat flux or negative. I think it makes sense. Thank you
