SubscriberHi, I am working on another solidification model and I have made an XY plot for temperature along a line in the geometry and I have the simulation running up to 3 seconds. However, when I go to get the XY data points after the simulation, I am only able to obtain the data points for the last time step (at 3 seconds).
I was wondering if there was an easy way of obtaining the specific data points for time steps in between (for example, if I wanted the time step at 0.5 seconds).

Ansys EmployeeIf you want to the temperature along the line at different time steps you need to export the XY plot along that line at certain frequency and read the files back into Fluent as Data Sources or elsewhere.

SubscriberThank you for answering. Just wondering, how do you set up ANSYS so that it exports the xy plot at every 0.5 seconds?

Ansys EmployeeUsing a journal file or TUI commands being executed every 0.5 seconds under "Calculation Activities".
