This generally happens when the project is corrupted. Try restoring the model using the Mechanical Database. In Mechanical, exported the .mechdat fie, then reimport into a new object on the schematic.
In your project folder, there should be an SYS.mechdb file for each Analysis object that was on the schematic ( the location for .mechdatis indicated in the error message). - Make a copy of SYS.mechdb to another folder Rename the copy to SYS.mechdatCreate a new Project. File > Import change the extension filter to .MECHDATBrowse to the SYS.mechdatand open. Save the project to a new name/folder when you are done. Also, please avoid having spaces in the file name.Once the .mechdatfile is imported you can resolve or import the result file (if you have it).

Thankyou soo much its much informative but can we test thermal analysis in 2D as i have seen all are explaining in 3D. I came to know that convection is one of mandatory part of any model. I am confused how to apply in 2D. In 3D there are edge face, we can easily select faces for convection.
And in material structural steel is enough or need to add material like maxwell ?

SubscriberHello Akhemka I experienced something similar using the Steady State Thermal and Transient Thermal columns.
My solution was to restart from the scratch and saving as a progressed.
Somehow, it worked.
Best luck Alex
