SubscriberHello Ansys Student Community,
I have to simulate a mechanica component using Ansys before that I would like to know the resonant frequency of that object. How do I find the resonant frequency using Harmonic Analysis?Â
Thanks & Regards
Vijay

SubscriberUse a Modal analysis to find the Natural Frequencies of the structure.
Each natural frequency can be excited into resonance if the frequency of the applied force is close to a natural frequency. -

SubscriberDear Petero,
Â
Thank you so much for your reply. Could you please explain to me clearly that in Harmonic analysis how can we the exact resonant frequency because it is a bit confusing for me to understand. Another aspect is that in Ansys, I was not understanding the relationship between natural frequency from the modal analysis and resonance frequency from harmonic analysis. How can we find the exact resonant frequency. Could you please let me know your kind response.
Â
Thanks & Regards
Vijay
