I'm using ANSYS meshing to create a 5 by 3 rectangular mesh on a basic 5 in by 3 in geometry. The geometry is a rectangle with a 0.5 in inlet at the left side and 0.3 in outlet on the right side. I split both the right and left vertical lines to create the inlet and outlet named selections and the final geometry looked like this:

July 29, 2021 at 9:21 pmpeteroznewmanSubscriberWhy don't you just use six Edge Sizing mesh controls on the three edge segments on the left and the three edge segments on the right and put the exact number of elements in each segment that creates an approximately horizontal set of nodes?
