SubscriberHi All,I’m trying to model a nanoindentation simulation on a fiber-reinforced composite specimen in ANSYS.ÂThe test is performed on a fiber–matrix system, where the interface between the fiber and matrix undergoes delamination during the process. I have used a traction–separation law (TSL) to characterize the interface.ÂWhen I looked up section 5.5.7.1. Interface Delamination Application in the ANSYS documentation (link: https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/public/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v251/en/wb_sim/ds_interface_delam_apply.html), I noticed that under the CZM method, it requires a Match Control between the interface surfaces.ÂI tried applying a Match Control for the fiber and matrix surfaces, but ANSYS does not allow me to define it. The geometry is already set up as a multi-body part without shared topology.Â
