I guess , this is an cylinder and you need to know the radius and length using the measure tool and then you can use the delet option via element editng and then delet via part selection. then you can use shape mesher and you can choose entitity as cylinder and you can construct the mesh from scratch.

Not very clear. Can you tell me more? Yes, this is a cylinder, but there are other complex elements in this model.

Hi ,How complex is the model?, in reality , once the mesh is built there is no undo,
cheers, Ram

There are several elements, such as a machine drill and other devices.
So you will have to:
- Import model without mesh and build it only in prepost.
- Load the model with the new mesh.

Hello,
Do you have the geometry? If so, you can remesh the geometry. Do you have access to Ansys WB LS-DYNA? It is probably easier to remesh the geometry in WB.
You can also remesh the geometry in LS-PrePost or you can generate a mesh without geometry in LS-PrePost. See the following training for more information:

I understood this, I thought there are some life hacks that will help to do something. Thanks
I know how to change the grid in prepost. But it does not change if it was imported from WB LS-Dyna.

You can change the mesh easily in WB LS-DYNA. You could probably have all your keywords in WB LS-DYNA using command snippets and/or input file include and/or the Keyword Manager:
If you cannot do all you need inside WB, you can remesh in WB and use that mesh to modify your .k file (copy/paste *NODE and *ELEMENT using a text editor).

I will try via WB as you said. I'll write how it turned out.
