  is there a way to couple displacements among nodes in workbench?

  Under conditions (loads, and BC,) there are constraint equations (coupling if you do thermal or electric or coupled analysis).
  
  (In apdl these are CP, and CE resp.,)
  
  These allow to couple dof together.
