How to convert from node lock license to floating license

  I'm running FDTD software with node lock license, but now upgrading to floating license, so do
  I need to deactivate node lock license first, install ANSYS license manager and then floating license key?

  Yes Deactivate your Node locked license.
  If you received and Ansys license, install the ANSYS license manager on your license server machine.
  Add the license file into the ANSYS LM Center.
  Configure Lumerical 2021 R2 to obtain the license from ANSYS LM.
