How to combine the result files in Ansys?

      Hello everyone!

I have the result files (.dat.gz) when I simulated by Fluent (as shown below).

The first files from "0000" to "60000' (denoted by time steps) were obtained and then the program was interrupted so I continued another simulation with the data file saved before. After that I had the result files from "60000" to "100000". However When I used CFD-Post processing to get animation, the time steps were loaded only from "00000" to "60000" or from "60000" to "100000". How can I get full time steps?

      Thank you so much!

You might need to adjust the content of the first cas file and add the missing time step specification there. Alternative is to use Ansys EnSight.n

however I recommend that you repeat the run and try to export cdat files: dat files in CFD-Post are not recommended!n

If you're messing in the case & data files I also recommend taking a copy. That way if it all goes wrong you don't lose any files. The other option is to post-process the first set of data and keep the State file, then run that state file on the second lot of data. n
