SubscriberHi, I am working on metasurface antenna, and need to calculate the power efficiency.
The received power on the top metal sheet can be obtained by the integration of the Poynting vector, but how to calculate the power on the load? The load is assigned by "assign boundary--LumpedRLC" or "assign excitation--Port--LumpedPort".

Ansys EmployeeHi Kai Ma,
For power loss analsys, you can define lumped port in HFSS for loss component such as Resistor and take the solved HFSS model into Ansys Circuit.
Inside circuit, you can add Resistor to the HFSS component with Terminal/port. You can find the voltage accross the Resistor and series current in Ansys circuit using Voltge and Current Probes to compute the power loss.
