SubscriberI am using multiphase model (VOF) for the hydrodynamic study. For this reason I need to calculate/find the area of the liquid within the flow domain. The area of the liquid will be used further for analysis of liquid holdup (L.H= area of liquid/ area of flow domain). If i opt volume of liquid instead of area of the liquid, in this case i would not have the volume of the domain as the domain is 2D as shown in the figure. The volume of such domain cannot be calculated, therefore i need to stick with the area of the liquid.

SubscriberThank you for your prompt response. But the area Ansys provide is of interior, packing, inlet, outlet, etc. I am actually in need of the area covered by the liquid within the flow domain.

Ansys EmployeePlease check isosurface function. You can create isosurface and then check area of the same.
